Garlandia is a star system in Assembly space, unclaimed by any race or faction.
Origin
Garlandia was designated as a buffer zone between Terran and Templar territory after the events of the Perseus War, with both factions treaty-bound to make no attempt to colonise it. The stricture does not apply to other races, however, in spite of the system's known mineral resources, no one has yet been brave enough to claim it.
